Westhaven University is pleased to announce our “homeschool co-op” partnership with Grove Virtual Academy, a locally-based, online school that caters to the academic needs of  athletes, equestrians, performing artists, academically gifted students, and home schoolers.

Grove Virtual Academy is a Tennessee-based online private school, grades K- 12. Students receive an extraordinary college preparatory experience through K12 International Academy – a fully accredited, tuition-based, NCAA- approved, and highly flexible online curriculum.

Westhaven’s “hybrid home school” approach  is for residents whose students face difficulties with a “traditional”  high school setting, for whatever reason.  Students use the Westhaven Resident’s Club for  study halls and meeting weekly with Randall Bedwell, a longtime instructor for Westhaven University, who has worked with dozens of Westhaven students in their college planning through his CollegePathConsultants.com.

Grove Virtual Academy offers flexibility and choice in school decisions, allowing your students’ daily schedules to accommodate  rigorous travel and training schedules–or not having to wake up so early to get to school!

Westhaven University is proud to sponsor Grove Virtual Academy and to build a “homeschool co-op” in our community.  We feel that, despite living among the top schools in the state, there is a place for certain students to excel in a homeschool setting and we are excited about being a catalyst in that process.
